Aldi's
Aldi's is one of the better recyclers in town.. instead of crushing
their cardboard boxes while wrapping groceries in
bags made of dead trees, they have the customers
use the boxes.. (plastic is also available)

people do their own packaging

avocados 50 cents
qtips 69 cents
corn syrup around 1.50
Nearly everything is much less than
the other stores

and one does not need to look at helpless lobsters
in tanks (lobsterlib.com)
or be confronted by bow and arrow magazines

Unions are not the reason that some of the chain
stores are more expensive...
but the food conspiracy and greed
