No, Thank YOU (and DVD news)

I want to thank each and every one of you who took time from your work, your family, your life and came up to Fairbanks for the Mira Betz workshop.

The show on Friday was a complete success and many people in the audience told me it was the best dance show they had seen in Fairbanks. That was not my doing - everyone on stage poured their hearts into the show, and the themes, dances and costumes were amazing. I still can't forget the 3 Blind Mice!

And for the workshops - wow! I'm glad we got to move into the bigger studio and had plenty of room, because Mira worked us HARD! I've never been so frustrated by what I couldn't do and so hopeful by what I could learn to do. When I took a break to look around the room, everyone was concentrating and absorbing all she had to offer us. I hope someone does bring her back, because I will make the trip to Anchorage to learn from her again!

I had hoped to get a really quick turnaround time on a DVD of the show, but I've been dealing with a personal situation since the end of the workshop. Everything (including dance!) has fallen by the wayside, but rest assured that I do have the videos and am working on getting them downloaded and moved to my laptop so I can work on them at home. I will keep everyone updated on the status of the DVD, but rest assured that there will be a video so you can keep reliving the show over and over!

XOXO

Loved, loved, loved being at the workshop, performance and hip bumping with all the ladies we don't get to see as often as we would like. Hugs and warm fuzzies being sent your way, with a little hiney pinch!
