On the news and events front:

We had a very nice time at Rumrunners a few weeks ago and I would like to continue getting to know everyone interested in the Burning Man Alaska Chapter. Tell your family and friends that are interested to sign up for the announce list for the alaska region from Burningman.com and we can make sure that no one is left out of the loop for future events.

For our next mini-event I would like to make it a monthly meeting to whomever is interested. Burning Man is about many things, including art, so I would like to propose a group of us travel to the First Friday events around town to support the local art community. Come once a year or 12 times, you will be welcomed the same. For the last First Friday of the year we will meet at 7pm next to the Sun behind the Performing Arts Center as that is a great public space as well as a good center location for the art shops downtown. If you have any friends that are showing their art that day then please let me know and we will put it on the list for the night.
