So the gears are moving...it looks HIGHLY likely that the vision of an Alaska based community arts festival will be coming together!

We haven't found a location yet but I think it's gonna actually happen this time around - we have a couple options and I'm scouting more location possibilities. Our tentative date is the third or fourth weekend of July. Still not sure if this will be a one day/night thing or a full weekend. I'd like to lean towards a campout 3 day 2 night kind of deal.

I'm working with the regional Burning Man coordinator for Alaska and she and I are hoping to pull rabbits out of hats and bring something unique to Alaska that isn't just another bluegrass festival.

My vision is in/organic art installations that enhance or adapt to the landscape of the location we end up with - big fires - hearty and yummy Alaskan grub - and some kick ass music as an aperitif.

Right now my hope is to offer this as a FREE event so I NEED volunteers!
