Alrighty, I swore I wasn't going but the playa has its hooks in me again as I'm on the Temple team this year.
After we get this regional sorted out I'll be hitting the road south...but, I want us to connect on the playa since it didn't happen much last year.
I propose a potluck/party/freakout/something once we all get there. Where!? When? What? Throw out some ideas.
I may be playing the Root Society dome again this year, if so, I'd love for you all to come out and dance. It was absolutely sick last year.
I'll make sure to register at Playa Info and if you could all do the same that would rock so we know where the AK conclaves are camped out in the city. I can't remember the name of the camp we'll be in but you all should come visit since we're going to have a gigantic dome and 4 quonset huts set up for bars and chill spaces.

Tue, May 20, 2008 - 5:09 PMWe have yet to meet any of the Alaskan Burners, but hope before the summer runs out we get to meet some/allof you and hopefully host something at our house and participate in any projects being put together. I want to extend an invitation to all AK burners on the Playa to join Bat Country for our Hunter S. Tuesday event. It is a posted event. Also, Ed Pickens from Bat Country is also on the Temple Crew so look him up... We would really love to share our Playa family with the Alaska folks. -

Tue, May 20, 2008 - 6:41 PMHopefully somebody will respond here but I know there's a monthly burner potluck in Anchorage...still waiting to see how this burner regional in july is going to play out.
I'll have to look up Ed Pickens - I'm on the lighting team for the temple. Definitely excited about the idea of spending a month in the desert instead of a week!
