I have been discussing this idea of a contest for my fellow alaskan burners, something that taps into our creative side, something that says Burning Man, something that says Alaska. As part of the Regional Group for BRC I have been tasked to create a flag for the Regional Information Center (RIC) at center camp. I have been mulling over ideas and it finally hit me - you do it. And if you do ,you get a free ticket to Burning Man this year.

Really.

Here is the dealy-o...

Submit a jpeg or pdf file of your idea to freezerburner@gmail.com and if you are the lucky one who wins then I will reward you with a ticket to Black Rock City.

rules and guidelines:

You must be an Alaskan - living in Alaska now. The design should be something that is easily duplicated so I can make this flag at home. We are looking at flag dimensions of 4-6 feet tall with a base of 30" tapering to a point. Ultimatly I would like this to be the logo for Alaska Burners and we will have flags for our camps, patches for our bags and stickers for whatever will hold them and anything else we can think of made from this logo.

Deadline is July 31st

Contact Melanie at freezerburner@gmail.com if you have any questions.

Thank you and good luck
