Kammi -- I SAW you at the festival! I walked right past you! I'm such a dolt for not stopping to chat with you. I was in a total performance haze and didn't connect the dots that i needed to meet you :(
Hope the fest was a success for you, and I hope for another chance to meet you. I'm also hoping we'll get some more organized hooping going, but I have to be honest and say I'm not quite up for organizing anything at the moment (1st trimester pregnancy ickies).
Anyone else feel like stepping up to the plate??? :)

We discussed having a Hoop Dancing workshop or mini intensive down here in Seward...........anyone up there interested?
Maybe in November? or we could wait till Jan.
After quite an eventful day Saturday and spinning a hoop at the Festival with Kammi yesterday, I came home with the full intention of laying on my butt;
however, my darling hubby proceeded to get me back outside to make not 1, but 3 hoops (of varying sizes).
So now I have to find some glitter tape to get decorating.
Let me know who might be interested in helping with a hoop event here in Seward.

Congratulations on your new pregnancy - and yes, you can blame everything from here on out on it! And, once the baby's born you have them for an excuse, too! IT's great!
What a wonderful performance YOU did in Seward!!! ALL the bellydancers were great! I was talking to "MamaShiva" about organizing an bellydancing hooping event in Homer so I can bring you all down here... I'll keep working on it!
I had a great time in Seward - putting my hoops out there, getting people interested. It's really starting to catch on!
