Right now I'm just looking forward to a summer of hooping without a baby bump! :) Huh. Wow. I just realized it will be weird to not have a baby bump...I think I'll miss it a little! -

I thought I would miss my baby bump too, but I was too fascinated by my baby to even consider my belly again for a long time... It's funny like that! SO are you almost due? It gets so exciting near the end! You'll have to post some pics here after you have the baby!
We just decided to go for it for the Hoop Convergence. It seems like the last time in a little while that we'll be able to run off and do something like this, so we're taking two weeks and just making a sunny little pre-baby vacation out of it. I'll let you know all about it when I get back! It's going to be an amazing event, I think.
It looks like there's more stuff like this happening, now - large gatherings of hoopers getting together in a place besides Burning Man. Did you see the HoopCamp advertised on Hooping.org. That looks like a lot of fun, too. -

Mon, March 10, 2008 - 4:23 PMAh, that's good to know! Yep, I'm in the home stretch...literally. Girlfriend is GROWING! Due date is April 30, but I really wouldn't mind if she decided to show up a bit earlier...I'm chomping at the bit to meet her :)
Hoop camp? I missed that. OK, another item to add to the list...

Tue, March 11, 2008 - 2:57 PMI know the end can feel crazy... just when you think you can't get any bigger - you do! Enjoy these last few baby free weeks, though, because you're going to have your hands full soon!
Are you planning to make - or have you made - a belly cast? I just love the one I made when I was about to *POP* with Spencer. My belly (and my breasts!) were so unbelievably BIG! My belly is definitely growing now, too. There's no hiding it, like Sarah Palin. (Isn't that unbelievable that no on knew she was pregnant until she announced it at SEVEN months!?)
I've been hooping, still teaching two classes a week, but not doing much hooping besides that. It's still right on the edge of feeling like a good thing to do, so I'm taking it easy. I'm so glad it will be a thing to go back to after the baby is born, though, so I know I can get back in shape right away.
