<div>What a wonderful way to enjoy the cooling down in the evening at the greenway park of Albina Green! we were joined by Oakes and Samantha and Steve. Cindrr is so helpful with learning new and inventive ways to work with another fire artist as well as tips and new tricks for the developing spinner. <br/>I came along with my 10 year old daughter who is determined to light up by the end of the summer and is practicing every chance she gets. <div>We had a guy come in last monday and brought a bunch of friends and we had a GREAT time :-) the place was packed with all kinds of musicians, Folk, Alternative, Pretty hardcore hoochie mammas with a computer backup and 2 beautiful ladies with dueling Violins. Everyone had a blast so we gave the leader of the pack Tuesdays to host open mic starting next tuesday. <div>Classic Rock <br/> <br/>Usually when we walk into a restaurant, and it’s quiet, we’re worried. But it was dark, we were hungry, and Albina Green was there. So we bellied on up to the full bar, flipped open the menus (made from old LP covers), and placed our orders from Albina’s vaguely rockstar-themed menu. <br/> <br/>There are some places that you want to keep quiet. Albina Green’s not one of them. Our hubby called his pulled pork sandwich the best he’d had in Portland—not just the best pulled pork, but the best sandwich, hands down. And our “Sir Paul” veggie burger was juicy and cheesy and totally awesome—good and messy like a real burger. Even the coleslaw, usually just an afterthought, tasted of sharp, lively honey mustard. If they put this much detail in their dang coleslaw, think what else they can do! <br/> <br/>And let’s not forget their weekend brunch. Priced incredibly gently (no dish over $7) and generously portioned, we’ve found our weekend hangout for sure.
