Combustion Event - Fire Tree Workshop June 11

I'll be hosting a workshop to make fire trees on June 11th.

This is your chance to learn how to combine art and fire. What can be better, besides three letter words that end with the letter "x"?

I'll need to buy the part ahead of time, so RSVPs are very important. The parts add up, so I'll need $30 per sculpture (let me know if you want to do more than one). If you want to just come and watch, that's fine too, but you'll be bumbed when you don't get to take a cool fire tree home with you. I'd need the money at least a week or so before the event. I can't afford to front. Paypal, or a check, or whatever. Just PM me.

After the workshop, you will know what parts you need to make another, but for the first one, it's best for me to buy them, so that nobody is stuck with the wrong thing.

Tiki Crafts

I'm hosting a Tiki craft day/night on January 12. We'll be making stuff to wear to Chad and Jill's Tiki party on January 19th.

We'll depart at around 11am, come early for a mimosa. We'll hit yard sales, second hand stores, dollar stores, and the craft store for supplies. Bring anything you want to work on (but try to focus on tiki related stuff), and any tools and supplies you might need or would like to share.

After we have everything we need, we'll go back to my place to work, drink, listen to music, and have a few drinks. Then we'll get dressed up and head out to the Undertow for some drinks, and to embarrass ourselves with the redneck crowd.

Thank you guys for all your help with the garage sale. Your help, energy, and presence made it all so much easier. Everything we didn't sell is sitting on the driveway with a "Free" sign. So, it's up to the scavengers now.

Camping on New Years!

Jennie and I are planning on camping on New Years Eve. We're thinking Big Basin maybe. They always have room there.

It will be cold, and it could rain, but if anybody is interested in joining us, let me know and we can coordinate.

This isn't a big party. We're both a little partied out. We just want to chill out, have a few cocktails with some friends, and enjoy the outdoors.

but im seeing george w. bush run around circa 1985 wearing nothing but a pair of cowboy boots, wasted off his ass, doing some hill bily dance doing coke off some poor slave familys heirloom cedar chest that his family ripped off like two hundred years ago and screaming "ALCOHOL IN A BOOT! it seems that the idea of drinking alcohol out of a boot is not something that was born on dec 1, 2007.

it appears merely the idea of singing about it was only born that day.

after talking to some people at csumb, there is a sharp possibility that vast numbers of people are not only aquainted with, but are down right familiar with having alcohol in a boot.

the burden is great, the audience is large.

we have, we deliver, we are....
