          Interesting, it's possible that things have changed that I don't know about...I'm not really in the loop. That would actually be pretty cool, closer to home and easier for my parents to come.

          Yup, looks like there was a pretty good mix up with who was actually supposed to be scheduling their race. I guess there are some people protesting it because it's not on pavement. Any tips for good tires to use on gravel? I guess they were discussing limiting the tire size to 700x28 in the collegiate category to ease any protests of unfairness about equipment.

            NOt worry - the nays must have outdown or at least out scream the yahs - eg, ie - no collegiate class at Oxbow. I'm actually a little bummed - but it will mean less work for me...

              Bummer. They'd better not just full out cancel it, that'll be the 3rd one out of only 5 races. If they do I'll come and do cat 5 at oxbow.

                  Yeah, that's what I was thinking, I'm interested to see what happens. I like knowing that I can race that day no matter what.

            I did it last year on 700x23c Conti GP3000's. I think it would depend on the weather. If it's dry, road skinny tires are fine.
