This is your Communications Officer calling all Burners
awaiting the upcoming Mission To Mars Decom!
The Mission To Mars (aka So-Cal Decompression) is T-20 days
to launch.
If you have not purchased your ticket to give you access to the
launch site at the top-secret Telemagica property in Jacumba, CA,
you must do so before T-13 days (Oct 4th) when launch pass tickets
will be $80 each.
If you don't want to pay $80 per ticket, please get
your launch pass now.

Our group is growing daily, with 450 launch pass tickets sold
so far. The Mission Control crew is feverishly working right
now to ready thelaunch site for all of you.
Please remember gates open at 12 Noon on Friday October 17th
and close at 5 PM on Sunday October 19th, no exceptions.
We will post the Survival Guide for the mission very soon.
In the meantime, here are a few things you will need for this
mission:
• Your Paypal confirmation and a govt/state issued ID for
all adults.
• Your own water, food, shelter, and clothing for the 2.5
day mission, including gray water container.
* An approved fire pit or burn barrel with spark arrester screen
if you want to be sure and have your own camp fire.
• Respect for the beautiful launch site and an awareness
of all signs.
• Your Burner "Leave-No-Trace" attitude! Don't bring the MOOP.
• All of your best hopes and intentions for an amazing event.
• Gifts to share, musical instruments, art, anything to add
to the event.
Keep in mind all registered Theme Camps and RV's will be placed by
our City Planner (Dag). All those in tents will be placed and have their
gear transported into the Sand Wash by DPW crew, unless they have a
4x4 vehicle that can negotiate in soft sand without getting stuck.
All registered Art will also be placed by the City Planner.
Speaking of ART! We wanted to share our most precious gift of
creativity with the inhabitants of Mars. A call went out for
artists ready to bring their on the art, and they did it! Your
Mission Control Crew are excited to announce the just released
list of amazing recipients of the BM LLC Art Decom Art Grants
for Decom 2008:
