Al-Mahala is a tribe for people interested in all things Middle Eastern in the SCA. Al-Mahala is also the name of the Middle Eastern encampment at Gulf War where classes and haflas are held and which some members of this tribe will be organizing. We are thinking about a permanent structure and the fund raising that goes with that. We are thinking about forming a household so we can register a badge for members to wear. We are trying to get more campers so we can keep our land at Gulf War.

And there are other events such as Lilies and All Thing Middle Eastern that have encampments and need classes and instructors for us to discuss. There are also Middle Eastern dance events, competitions and seminars in various kingdoms this tribe hopefully will encourage folks to go to.
