Set point
Notice the slight curve to the hole pattern. It is because I always use the same first set hole in the lower bar to locate where to drill on the top bar. As the top bar drops inside the lower, it changes the relative position of the new hole in the upper piece.
Make sure you notch the bottom bar first as the bottom bar will not flex if you don't cut it.
The holes were set at just over and inch apart. The result is less than 5 degree increments for angle adjustment.
