Just a reminder: Tribe forums are divided into four forums per tribe. Please use the correct forum for your type of post.
Example:
"What do you think about legalizing cannabis?" = topic (though potentially off-topic here unless you are talking about making biofuel from it)
"Sign these petitions to legalize cannabis" = listing
"Rally for the legalization of cannabis" = event
"Wanted: signatures on these petition" = request.
If you post something in the topics area that should be someplace else, I will generally try to give you a warning, with intent to delete the topic in 24 hours. That way, you have the opportunity to move the posting to the correct area without any real lapse in visibility.
I do not police the content of the listings, events or requests, on the grounds that I hold them to be ancillary items that the poster believes to be of interest to the group. I will, however, drop the hammer on the topics, so please follow these guidelines, and also please stay at least marginally on-topic. Initial posts will be held to a higher standard in this regard; follow-ups less so, as it is perfectly normal for a conversation to wander a bit once started.
Lastly, I have never dropped the ban-hammer. I would prefer to keep it that way.
