Let me make this simple: Regardless of how you feel there may be sympathy for your position in this tribe, if your topic of discussion is not related to renewable energy, energy conservation, or other energy forms that are discussed incidentally to these, then it is off topic.
I really, really hate swinging the hammer. Please don't make me.

Fri, August 21, 2009 - 2:35 AMAwww, dude! You're makin' me blush!
The sad thing is that I was a little ticked when I posted the start of this thread. Part of me actually wanted to discuss the off-topic topic, and part of me wanted to yell and scream about how off-topic posts give (insert cause here) a bad name, I think probably because Shakti and I would agree on a good part of it. -

yes but off topic is off putting... regardless of the importance of the topic..there is a whole bunch of things that can ultimately destroy a thread or a tribe and it is the mods role to keep these things out but to do it politely.... less we stream off on irrelevent tangents ... football and basket ball are both great games but you don't play one on the others pitch....
tottally off topic (lol) but relevent is a thread I tarted in the moderators tribe moderators.tribe.net/thread/.....babble babble babble ... one of my pet hates on tribe (and I got plenty!) .. sadly the point of the thread has been missed (so far) but I reckons you (and likely many here) will get it.
