Not the whole fucking movie....but that one moment when you thought....yep......I relate....yep.....wow....
For me it was Daniel Day-Lewis licking the face of Gordon Warnecke in *My Beautiful Laundrette*
If you havent seen it........ hand in your gay card.....you are one pathetic homo..
If you say anything with Greta Garbo, Joan Crawford, Jodie Foster, Rock Hudson or Spiceworld...dont just hand in your gay card...first...slit your throat with it.......
<if you say any scene from BBM then its cool........ ur just young and lacking imagination)

Re: That one celluloide moment
Mon, March 26, 2007 - 12:50 PMUm....I don't have a "gay card" and I don't have any desire for one. BUT, I would agree that, "My Beautiful Laundrette" is one of the most special and important gay films that has ever been produced. I have seen it dozens of times.
"Short Bus" is on my list to eventually get around to seeing. John Cameron Mitchell comes to our faerie gatherings occasionally. My bf knows him on a personal level. I do not.
Since I had a relatively easy time "coming out" and have never had problems with people not liking me because of my sexuality, it's hard for me to identify with a particular gay film as it pertains to my reality. However, I like many gay films, of course. -

I forgot two things:
1. Americans dont do sarcasm welll
2. Most posters have a brain the size of a small pea -
