hi, as many women know, the effects of child birth (or sex with a partner who is rather large down there) can cause loosening in the walls of the vagina. well i've been with such a person who is ten inches on and off for a year and a half and i've noticed a major difference in... yeah.. it hurt like hell for a while when we did it. i had to smoke marijuana just to enjoy it and now i regret this.. sometimes i may go a month, but nothing seems different and i read something about keigel excersizes and was wondering if those actually work to tighten the muscles.. i don't have kids and this experience makes me afraid of what i'd be like after children, lol.. please seriously any advice would be great. thanks

effusion in ear...advice?

Condition is liquid buildup in ear, that I mop out daily with Q-tips. Online research yielded the name of the condition: otitis media. This began in January from daily swims in a Mexican rainforest river. Hoping it would dry out. It did in one ear, but going on 3 1/2 months in the other. (chronic). I can feel my eustachian tube on that side,... evidently mucous or something is traveling up the eustachian, entering from behind the eardrum into the outer ear. Bacteria, fungus, microbes, inflammation?
What I've tried, self-medicating, to no avail so far: topical teatree application, alchohol flush, H3O flush, vinegar flush, over the counter sinus drying/decongesting tabs, septrim antibiotic tabs,... but whatever it is has gotten a firm hold.
Of course I prefer a natural remedy, but as you see, I'll try anything to knock the bastard out.

I'm about 95% vegan, but will eat some raw fish for omegas, and will eat some high-calcium content cheese. Not a smoker, moderate beer/wine consumption.

Would love to get a practical remedy.

ionic foot bath plates

anyone have any real idea about whether or not these things actually work? i developed a rash on my foot during the period of time in which i was using them, the guy who sold them to me refuses to talk to me about anything of any subject matter (except for when he's telling me how disrespectful i am for contacting him and that he will not discuss anything of any subject matter with me), and when i left the plates running in the water without my feet, there was still lots of crap and shit floating around in the water after a half an hour. all seems very suspicious.

can't sleep....

and i hate to get a Rx for something..but im almost to that point.

the problem isnt that i can't sleep it's that i'm a freakin night owl..and my job requires me to get up every day at 5am. last night i didnt fall asleep until after 2:15. i can't keep doing this.. it's been like this a loong time..but i know i need to try something to help me get to sleep at a reasonable hour.

Thoughts?

What types of 'suppplements' would you suggest for my father in law. They have him on so many other meds.....I want to fortify his immune system along with the meds.

There is no naturopath around. He is ambulatory, but still unable to use his right side.

I read the front page news story with mixed feelings. While I am very glad to have been a part of supplying information and source clay to the microbology team at Arizona State University, and I do respect any and all authentic work done, I realized a few years ago that they were light years behind in understanding the nature of quantum coherent substances and the oligodynamic properties of complex colloids.

I cringe at the looming possibility of pharmocolgy giants stepping into the field of healing clays. I can state from first hand experience, as an example, that Pfiser corporation has studied ( and I believe buried ) extensive research into the nature of high purity smectites, and their potential use in human health.

This disasterous interference is nothing new. The european community discovered similiar properties of clays for use in wound care. Medical companies, powered by the idea of significant profits, began to introduce medical grade clay products.

The problem is, these products were nearly useless. The clays were denaturalized in order to meet sterilization standards. They were irradiated, sometimes even bleached, and thoroughly over-processed. These inferior, lifeless products began replacing natural, vibrant clays in clinic use. Luckily, staffs with more extensive experience using curative clays quickly noticed the difference, and where POLICY permitted, switched back to natural products.

Furthermore, lack of knowledge, coupled with a baffling lack of desire to listen, has truly hampered research efforts at the academic level in the United States. As an example, I've seen microbiogists researchers pleased at a clay's ability to eliminate MRSA "Staph" in 30, 60, and 90 minute time kill tests. In my eyes, this is a dismal performance, as we can cut that time kill time down to 7 minutes.

Luckily, as you'll see in my next post, there are private researchers in the world spending signficant amounts of capital in order to understand and potentially make breathtaking discoveries in the a wide range of related disciplines, such as quantum field theory.

Hi guys,

I used to practice / utilize acupuncture but was unhappy with it for a large number of reasons. I am now starting to work with the Egoscue Method and have started a group to explore it here: http://tribes.tribe.net/egoscue
Egoscue seems to be this wonderful combination of ’old-school’ excercise, pilates, and yoga that just realigns my system. As I do many of the ecises, I feel my chi flowing to my hands and pelvis. And I can do this daily, no needles or doctor required.

I do not work for Egoscue, I am a graduate student. But this system just totally rocked my world and not a lot of people know about it yet. I think that those involved in alternative medicine will really appreciate it.

sinus infection cure?

aloha friends
i am on kauai, and the moisture and the mold are getting my sinuses quite upset. i've been flushing with saline solution in a neti pot, i have been spraying grapefruit seed extract up my nose, i've been taking oil of oregano, echinacea, and this stuff called zeolite. is there some magical thing i've not attempted that you know of?

Tonenail fungus? (Ew!)

So one of my toenails just stopped growing a few weeks ago & the toe is kind of swollen & slightly tender. The nail seems fine so far, but in doing a little online research it sounds like it might be a toenail fungus. I just started putting tea tree oil on it twice a day. Do you think that will help? Any other ideas?
