Looks like Adam and I will either drive or fly straight from KC to Dallas, and then back again (we were originally going to take the week before YHY to visit Arizona, but I think that's going to have to wait until November (*sobs in yearning for desert*)
SO, who is thinking of driving? We could rent a big van and carpool - saving I'm guessing a TON of money over flying. Leaving on Wednesday would be good - if we drive on Wed we can be there by a reasonable hour, have dinner, get rested before Thursday. And we can come back on Sunday afternoon/evening?

Thu, June 12, 2008 - 9:16 PMI don't think we'll stay in our usual Fort Worth MIcrotel since it'd be lame to drive that far if we're staying Dallas (about 20 minutes) but we might look for another Microtel since that place is SO clean, nice, and cheap. And I'm a big fan of mini fridges, having fresh milk and yummy sammiches each day for dirt cheap was a big deal for 3rd Coast.
Anyway, we might look into hotels, but I don't think we need to book RIGHT AWAY. -
