Dear Dancers,

It's the first time in the 8 year history of Bellyqueen that we have
had auditions so this is an experiment to see what happens. We were a
trio for 3.5 years, then a duet for another 3 years, now we are up to 6!
Up until now, we have deliberately kept it small because there hasn't been many
opportunities for large troupes to get booked, plus we found that it
was easier to synchronise styles and rehearsal schedules with a
smaller group than a larger one, but now we are ready for something
new so we are trying this out to see how it goes.

Saturday April 1st: Auditions for Bellyqueen Company, New York NY
Seeking: Female Dancers-18 plus
5"2 to 5"9. Any ethnicity. Must have experience in bellydance.
Ballet, Jazz, Modern, Yoga, Afro-Carribean, Flamenco, Indian, Chinese,
Gypsy and Popping a plus.
Dancers must attend at least one NYC class a week taught by Kaeshi
(for synchronicity of style), plus weekly rehearsals on Wed 3-6pm and
Sun 12-3pm in mid town.

Auditions will be held Sat April 1st, 12-3pm at Fazils - Time Circle
Studios, 743 8th Ave, bet 46th and 47th St, NYC.
Bring pix and resume and 1 written page explaining your goals as a
dancer and why you want to join Bellyqueen.
Please prepare a 3 min solo showing off your specialties.
(Does not have to be bellydance.)
Rehearsals are not paid. There will be compensation for commercial
