My 13.1" f/4.5 mirror has been a dear friend of mine for 28 years and I would like to get it something for it's birthday -I was thinking about a new silver coat. Ok, aluminum! Does anyone recommend an outfit that can give my friend a proper make-over? Please let me know. I am in Western Canada but can ship all over the continent. The mirror was originally from Coulter Optics...

Spectrum is perhaps the best in the business. They recoated my scope's primary and secondary years ago and the job still looks like it was just finished. Here is the link: www.spectrum-coatings.com/

Thanks Martin! They must do one hell of a business to coat mirrors so inexpensively. I was expecting it to be way more than the initial cost of the Odyssey 13.1" Dob. ($550.00 c1980)
