It's all about the Mead...

If you can get it on the east coast, try Honey Run Blackberry Honey Wine from Chico, CA. Unlike most other flavored meads which add berry juice to the mead after the fermentation, the blackberries are fermented with the honey and.... OH MY, is it good! Try it chilled or warm. Both are delicious. It's quite sweet, but has passed the test of skeptics time and again. It is particularly good in hot, dry regions, but a cool glass of honey wine on a muggy summer day in Georgia may change your outlook on the day, as well as turn into a long night of merriment. It also comes fermented with cherries and elderberries... the cherry Honey Run is particularly good, but less likely to be in stock. Enjoy! ; >
