OK - so I think I've gone off the deep end and have agreed to take full responsibility for running Aaron's side of entourage. There is a yahoo group set up for this. If you have not joined I highly encourage you to do so. I will need the combined help of the Amazons and Rhoadd to help now more than ever. Aaron has a fairly aggressive schedule over the next few months. If you are already on the yahoo list please review the events you have agreed to attend and confirm that you will be able to make it. I know that after Gulf Wars our energy changes and it can be hard to get back into the swing of things.

Going forward this is how I would like to see things happen. I will be taking a very fluid approach to scheduling. It will be highly dependent upon who is there and available and to what is going on at that event. I would like there to be two people assigned to Aaron most times. One person will be with him at all times while the second person will act as a runner and as a back up for breaks for the other person. My goal is to have these teams of two take 2-3 hour shifts at most. Keep in mind that a lot of these times will be on the field and typically the hours that will need to be covered by non-fighters will be the morning and the evening. And this is where I could really use help from the Amazon household to step up. This will allow those of us that fight to fight and to cover him on the field.

I also need help from folks who would like to assist in putting together things like lunches, breakfasts and such. Can be very simple. If you are interested in taking on this particular responsibility please contact me directly. Ideally I would like to have one person in charge, maybe event to event or overall, that coordinates this.

My basic concern is to make sure that someone is with him at all times and it doesn't really require strict scheduling as long as we each step in and do this job. The evenings and court will be a bit more structured of course but otherwise, if you are Rhoadd or Amazon and you see him take off without anyone it is your job (please) to step in and be his shadow. That way, we all get to participate. Bottom line, he's our friend, our Knight, our King and let's just make sure he gets taken care of the best way we can.
