i sent an email requesting that "Matty Jakes" be put on the plaque... but if anyone else feels like sending a message, please do :)
last year i stayed home so that he could fully explore himself out there and not be distracted by our drama... so, i put "Matty", but for those of you that actually went to burning man with him, what did he call himself out there? matt or matty?

REMEMBRANCE PLAQUE FOR BURNERS LOST

Since 1996, Burning Man has created a plaque to commemorate members of our community who have passed away each year. We would like to carry on this tradition and honor those who have affected our Burning experiences and participated in making Burning Man happen. This is a call out to you, our community, to please let us know of any burners lost who you feel should be added to the Remembrance Plaque.

Please send their name, exactly as you would like to see it appear, to this address:
remembrance@burningman.com
(use REMEMBRANCE PLAQUE in the subject line)
Look for the completed plaque at the base of the Man from Monday (August 27th) through Friday (August 31st).
May their spirits move on to the eternal playa!
