StormFront's mass Spam Mail

Recently I got a copy of that annoying Spam mail that Storm Front and SNIPE ME likes to circulate lamenting the plethora of non white celebrations and schools and funds etc.

It’s easy to take the assertions at face value. The words of racism are all too often all over them. Black this, Hispanic that, Jewish the other thing. It sure sounds racist especially when it is all so closely contextualized in the language of indignation.

So I decide to not take it for granted but, rather to look into the individualized assertions of the StormFront message. ( I didn’t get my e-mail from them but, I believe they originate most of this stuff). The following is what I got:

The white make is a bona fide minority but gets treated like some kind of deposed barbarous tyrant much of the time – not all of the time mind you - but, when some young ignorant over zealous college girl wants someone to hate the white make is all too often the handy victim. Hey~!! They are fucking children. In 5 years they won’t remember what howling assholes they were.

In that context the white male over 40 is treated like he’s got a bull’s eye on his back face and chest. Those poor bastards are the modern analogy to the Leper.

Women’s organizations in the workplace that serve women exclusively and promote women exclusively are all too common and are 100% sexist.

It should be noted that in most all discrimination litigation on the subject area of organizations that discriminate the key elements include:
Whether there was any advertising
To what extend the entity has a public presentation
Whether business trade or vocational advancement is contemplated part of the activity
Whether the activity of the entity pertains to housing etc.

Forming a group with the intent that the men in the club would meet and greet and make business associations and advance themselves in the world of business has been ruled illegal by the courts. Why should it be any less illegal when women do it? Or black people? Or Latinos? Or Jews? Or Italians? Or Germans? Or Austrians? Or Britons? Or Caucasians? Or Greeks? Or Catholics? Or Episcopalians? Or GAY? Or Lesbian? Ad nausium~!!

Isn’t the mere use of the word that specifies some group based on an immutable characteristic, alienage, religion, or creed problematic? It has disparate impact discouraging people who do not fit the specified criteria from joining and benefiting from the business associations developed.

If you knew that the only way to do business in much of a community required you to be a member of the Itlo-American club and you were not Italian wouldn’t that pose a problem?

The United Negro College Fund appears to be exclusively for black people but,
I don’t know if this is true. I do know that the universities and colleges that call themselves “Black” are really “historically black” that is they were founded to solve a serious problem: Black folk were not allowed to get educated elsewhere. Today they are in fact open to all regardless of race.

So the UNCF which says it’s supporting black Americans in the black colleges may possibly be simply supporting whoever is attending a historically black college and also obtains a grant. I just have no information on whether the funds from the UNCF benefit people on a racial basis or not. It surely appears that way. They might want to address that issue.

Unfortunately the language of racism that these institutions use so liberally, definitely gives them the complexion of racism.

The holidays are not racist. The reason to create some of them may have been inspired by racist thinking but, they are not in and of themselves racist.

Columbus is not celebrated because he was European but, because of what he did. Same with Washington’s birthday

Martin Luther King only happened to have been a black man. What he accomplished is the cause for the holiday.

Cesar Chavez Day is a day celebrating the accomplishments of a famous labor leader. You can have political issues with labor and unions but, the man was a famous organizer and leader. (it’s only celebrated in 8 states)

Ma'uled Al-Nabi celebrates the founder of Islam. Which whether you like it or not was one hell of an accomplishment (it is not celebrated in any state in the USA)

Yom Hashoah, is Holocaust Remembrance Day. There was a holocaust and the Jews were the group who were the most affected. But all who were affected all who remain affected are openly invited to partake. (Jews in North America observe Yom Hashoah within the synagogue as well as in the broader Jewish community – NO states celebrate it)

████ There are no holidays for men or women who accomplished nothing.

████ There are no holidays about events that were meaningless.

Black history month does sort of grate on the nerves.

The NAACP sort of makes sense. People feeling marginalized rally their own flag and form their own support. The more one thinks about it, the more they are to be applauded. The NAACP is Black people standing on their own feet and taking their own fates into their own hands. Isn’t that what it is to be American?

BET What can I say. It’s Hee Haw with the contrast turned up too far. I can’t imagine that black people watch it. They only play movies with black themes and actors as the main entities. Yes it is racist.

Black history month does sort of grate on the nerves.

Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Does grate on the nerves - It is unabashedly Racist.
Black Chamber of Commerce Does grate on the nerves - It is unabashedly Racist.
Miss Black American pageant Does grate on the nerves - It is unabashedly Racist.

When I was in undergraduate there were no fraternities or sororities allowed in my school. Except for the Black African Students Union. That really grated on the nerves.

I have been turned down for a job because they wanted a Female. One of my interviewers actually told me.

I had a contract as a public employee not renewed because I was not a minority female. She actually went on public record in the local paper making these assertions.
Those things were annoying in the extreme.

So there are things that are racist.

I don’t think there is such a profound over abundance of it that I am troubled or put out by much of it.
I really did not come away from this thinking that I had to RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE or any such crap.
