Re: Employee Free Choice Act
Sun, October 25, 2009 - 7:13 PMThe unions c come up with a way to rig votes and cornet people into being afraid to be the guy who didn't vote for unionization - and they call it freedom.
I've been in a union. It was the most god dammed worthless waste of my money I could imagine.
Bunch of fucking mobsters all out to get themselves rich pretending to be in it for the working stiff.
No matter who is in charge it is always to poor dumb schmuck whop punches a time card who takes it on the chin.
Stumbles won't be any different. He's going to ride the back of the working man just like every one else. -

what I like is how the union propaganda machine convinces young people that it's in their best interest to support them. insanity.
unions act as a barrier, limiting new hires while inflating the cost per worker. so the average drop-out is guaranteed to earn less (assuming they can even find a job) while paying for the pensions of the union bosses. pensions that are so over-extended that the young guys will never see a penny. and pay is completely unrelated to their skill level.
yeah. unions make sense to those over fifty. if you have twenty more productive years in you, it's as good as a hemorrhoid. -

Mon, October 26, 2009 - 6:41 AMI don't see unions good for the 50+ crowd either.
Unions encourage the employer to take their manufacturing elsewhere and the 50+ people are SOL. -

I guess it all depends upon if they can retire on a pension or not.
