There is a real question about how much race plays into Obama's success if for no other reason the closet racism on the part of the left.
However putting that aside it is true that no matter what Clinton does the spin Doctors make it sound racist. Even when it isn't.
The crap about "code speak" is the first thing that leaps to mind.
Why would any one even have racist code speak!~? To talk in polite company about racist things? Who would do that and how would they organize it? Secret cabals of the illuminatti? "OK guys there is a racist code speak meeting at 11:00. there will be a role call."
Who really would ever use code speak? Even the KKK wouldn't bother with that stupid shit.
The spin meisters made it all up and you know who fell for it? The ignorant - the left. The racist the biased = the left.
The stupidity of the idea of racist code speak aside do you think Clinton and Ferarro planned to have her put the idea out there and then fall on her sword and leave the campaign~?
Just toss it against the wall and see if it sticks~?
