The idiots seem always to fall for the populist lies and shit and the politicians who are best at putting forward lies and shit are the worse possible examples of the species.

And there are more idiots than there are any other type of person.
That is what the Democrats have figured out. The really stupid people out number every one else combined.
Stupid lazy shiftless weak people are the single largest component of population no matter where you go.
The left has figured this out and also the nexus between what they hold as ideologically desirable goals and the imagined desired and wants of that demographic. And over a few decades the worst element of the Democratic party ( the stupid lazy shiftless sort) has managed to work a mind fuk on the leadership changing nearly everything about the party platform.

ERGO: The Dems are all about big government making sure that their constituents see them as trying to have government do everything for them.

I can remember when Democrats were the party of personal responsibility. They were all about people being independent, self supporting, responsible, owning up to obligations, these people were proud of their military service, went to church and took it seriously, paid their bills, held their jobs and businesses in the face of adversity, raised families, and were proud of their nation.

Then something changed in the 1960's and the Left became bitter, hateful, mean spirited, closed minded, reactionary, and violent.
But worst and I mean the absolutely worst thing was that the left promulgated this myth that government was the be all end all solution for everything. That coupled with the idea that government should be taking care of people it became a Juggernaut of post modernist Communism. The left is modern fascism and communism all rolled into one.


And that's where they are today.
