The ideal chair is one in which a person may recline at leisure and rest for endless periods without becoming stiff or rubbing any spot too much and at the same time will allow the user to sit at alert state continually pursuing whatever one might pursue while seated.

It is an ideal I can have in my head when I set about to build a chair but Lorenzo, I shall never build or find that ideal chair. The ideal chair would defy the very nature of the materials I’d use to build it. It would defy the laws of physics. It can never exist.

You want to take the nation down the same road that the Chinese, North Korea, Cuba, Russia, and Nazis went down. The road you seek is the same that Angola, Benin, Democratic Republic of Congo, Ethiopia, Somalia, Eritrea, and Mozambique. All took.

Why will it be so much rosier here and now?

The single and best argument for capitalism is that it is the one single greatest expression of human nature on a social order the planet has ever seen. Capitalism is humans doing what humans naturally do. Socialism ( communism by a kinder gentler sounding name) is an artificial construct that forces humans to behave in very un-human ways. Right from the start it fails.

It only works when all the members share an identical level of accountability and responsibility to each other, for each other, and themselves. You can’t get that in populations larger than say 50.
