I almost never write such a bad review about a restaurant, but here goes. I went to this Pancho Villa's because a friend of ours recommended it. I ordered two carne asada tacos a la carte and my husband ordered chile verde, which is pork chunks in green sauce. My tacos were absolutely horrible, the meat was very dry, they tasted like they had been marinated in a rancid peanut oil and had chunks of garlic in the tacos. Most people know that peanut oil and mexican seasoning almost always clash, unless you are doing a peanut based dish, but rancid oil never goes with anything. My husbands meal was just as bad, it had the same disgusting peanut oil flavor and the meat was also dry. So we took a few bites and decided to call it a loss and never eat there again. Then we got the bill, $13 for two tacos a la carte (no beans, no rice). I asked the waitress if the bill was correct and she said it was. I could not believe that I paid $6.50 for each crappy taco. I had a soda, my husband had one margarita and his meal. Our bill was over $40 dollars. Next time I have a craving I am sticking to Taco King, always satisfying, always delicious, always under $15 for both of us.
