**Marimba Muzuva features soprano, tenor, baritone and bass marimbas (wooden xylophones); mbira (thumb piano); hosho (gourd shakers); ngoma (hand drum); and drum kit. The band also composes original music and performs maghavu (leg shaker) dances and South African gumboot dances.

Create and design your own rattle form recycled materials left over from the drum making process. Rattles are powerful healing tools used in ceremony to assist one to get in touch with their inner voice, break up stagnant energy and connect them to the spirit world. They are also a wonderful percussive instrument to add to any piece of music.

Kundalini Dance Facilitator training experience

This past October/November of 2006 I traveled down south through the rushing mayhem of the I5 to frogwood lodge retreat center…where the first ever North American Kundalini Dance facilitator training program with Leyolah Antara founder of www.kundalini-dance.com was to be born. (organized by Luna....blessings to this sister)
A 12 day adventure of movement, breath, sound and unconditional love. Embarking upon a deep introspective journey of the chakras……….discovering the shadowing and embracing it with the light.
Returning home, re-connecting to friends, family and tribe, what I thought would be familiar was so foreign. The reflection I saw of myself through my community had completely shifted……..who am i???? who are you????
i am having remembrances of how my perception of the world did a complete 360 and continued to spin after birthing my daughter and experiencing my celestial body relating to the world as “mother”……
I have rebirthed myself as a new born child in this global Paradise Matrix called earth.
Welcome to the collective, i feel more at home inside of my physical, emotional, mental and spiritual body than ever before........
Appreciation to all of you who are on this path and doing the work for global consciousness.......whatever affects one of us affects all of us......gratitude to all of you for affecting me so positively........
we are on a planetary mission as carriers of higher consciousness to carry on these ascending vibrational frequencies.........

didgeridu sound therapy testimonial by Lee Masters

I lie down and make myself comfortable on a thin mat on the floor, covering my body with a blanket, my head pointing to the middle of the room. Others are doing the same. We’re about to embark on an inner adventure together. Some people I know, others I don’t. I feel into the settling energy of the room, connecting with each person. I feel into the two being s who have offered to shepherd the way and feel blessed and confident in their care. At the onset of this journey, I’m aware of the vastness of my inner landscape and praise myself for giving myself this nourishment. I give gratitude for this opportunity, my surroundings, my gentle guides, my earthly sustainer, anchor, body. My breath settles. As sounds begin to enter and build in the space, I realize I am losing the sense of functioning in the world of responsibility and being in charge of my thoughts and feelings at the mercy of accomplishment and keeping the status quo. I am set free. I am immersed in ancient sounds that don’t make sense and that are inhibiting my sinking into the mundane patterns that usually persist. These sounds are stimulating me, prodding me, making me uncomfortable within my external comfort, almost forcing me to stay connected to informative sensations in my body that I can’t help but pay attention to. I’m getting a little worked up and the sensation is getting more localized. The sounds aren’t subsiding and I have to accept and stay connected to the discomfort, breathing with it, seeing it, caressing it as I would my distraught child. And then ………….. the ancient haunting sound of the didj booms into my inner world and seems to dive right in the middle of the build-up of sensation. I break open. I fountain, erupt, flow into cascading fragments of melting feelings, love pouring from my chest and pooling, pooling, filling the whole room and more, out into the land, the trees, the sky, the universe. The didj sounds keep pumping that melt and love and now the shepherds are at my side, power washing me with sound, turning each cell of my being into a quivering platelet that dances, transforms and eventually settles into a new order and why had I done all that hard work to contain these inexpressible feelings ? I’m so soft and delicious now. I’m tingling all over. My human Soul fills with compassion for what it is to be human, to feel so much. I love my shepherds. I love all of you in the room, even if I don’t remember your name. I love my family, my community my whole world. I feel humbled and whole. We circle, we share. I want to tell you about my journey but words are hard right now. I’ll try a few just to let you in. Like dreams, these journey are sometimes more vivid than others and, having allowed myself to delve into a more powerful journey this time, my healing can be more accessible next time. And our world needs us to be healing!
