Hello everyone,

I found this tribe while doing a search for anything on Atlantis. I have always been fascinated by the paranormal,
and ancient history. In particular, I have always been interested in ancient Egypt and Rome, and have more
recently become somewhat obsessed with the story of the lost city of Atlantis. I've been doing some searches
online, and have come across some interesting stuff, including the story of Atlantis as told by Plato. I was curious
as to what most of you here believe in regards to the story of this lost city? I read that Plato himself said several
times that Atlantis was not a fictional story, but a true account of a civilization that once existed. I wondered what
most of you think about it? Do you believe it to be true, and if so, why? I would like very much to learn as much as
I can about it, and would love to hear what any of you have to say.

I look forward to discussions regarding this very fascinating story!

The Different Levels of Reality and Ultimately Merging into the Absolute Omni-Potent Infinity

The humbleness you feel is your own essence shining through the very existence.

I know there is something about both of us, and all of us, all of human existence, we are beginning to tap our potential and fufill our birth-right, beginning to integrate and use the inherent possibility within our DNA and our brains and our full three-fold body structure, letting go of karma at each level, physical, astral, all the way up into the absolute infinity of the casual realms, experiencing all as the delicate network of ideas, God's infinite creation.

As well as ultimately learning to liberate ourselves completely and let go of all bodies and all karma, into formlessness and the absolute, while retaining our "consciousness of individuality", in absolute infinity and unity with God.

The last liberation requires letting go of all karma on all three levels of reality, physical, astral, casual (mental)

To quote Sri Yukteswar "The mere presence of a body (any kind of body, on any of the levels) signifies that its existence is made possible by unfifilled desires (karma)."Therefore to become ultimately liberated a soul must let go of all desires and merge completely with the omnipotent infinity of God.

As I am in a body (omni on a few levels), I by no means claim to be an expert at this.

Make the teachings as accessible and universal as possible.

IIf this message resonates with you I ask you to read or reference to chapter 43 of Autobiography of a Yogi by Paramahansa Yogananda, the title entitled "The Resurrection of Sri Yukteswar." That explains it in its entirety, and is in my opinion the best, most grounded and in integrity description I've found of a most divine being reporting on the after-death state and the different levels of reality.

The other is the re-incarnate knowledge of the Tibetan Book of the Dead, which can be integrated into this knowledge. The Clear Light of Reality of the Tibetan Book of The Dead being the absolute, omni-potent infinity of God, which by merging with at the moment in death, or in life, or in periods in life like meditation or dreaming, we can let go of all karma and be one with infinity.

Scientists unravel the mysterious Antikythera Mechanism

Scientists have finally demystified the incredible workings of a 2,000-year-old astronomical calculator built by ancient Greeks.

A new analysis of the Antikythera Mechanism [image], a clock-like machine consisting of more than 30 precise, hand-cut bronze gears, show it to be more advanced than previously thought—so much so that nothing comparable was built for another thousand years.

"This device is just extraordinary, the only thing of its kind," said study leader Mike Edmunds of Cardiff University in the UK. "The design is beautiful, the astronomy is exactly right…In terms of historical and scarcity value, I have to regard this mechanism as being more valuable than the Mona Lisa."

The researchers used three-dimensional X-ray scanners to reconstruct the workings of the device's gears and high-resolution surface imaging to enhance faded inscriptions on its surface.

Precise astronomy

The new analysis reveals that the device's front dials [image] had pointers for the sun and Moon—called the "golden little sphere" and "little sphere," respectively—and markings which coincided with the zodiac and solar calendars. The back dials [image], meanwhile, appear to have been used for predicting solar and lunar eclipses [image].

The researchers also show that the device could mechanically replicate the irregular motions of the Moon, caused by its elliptical orbit around the Earth, using a clever design involving two superimposed gear-wheels, one slightly off-center, that are connected by a pin-and-slot device.

The team was also able to pin down the device's construction date more precisely. Radiocarbon dating suggested it was built around 65 BC, but newly revealed lettering on the machine indicate a slightly older construction date of 150 to 100 BC. The team's reconstruction also involves 37 gear wheels, seven of which are hypothetical.

"In the face of fragmentary material evidence, such guesswork is inevitable. But the new model is highly seductive, and convincing in all of its detail," wrote Francois Charette, a researcher at the Ludwig-Maximilians University in Germany who was not involved in the study, in a related article in the journal Nature.

Discovered in 1900

Pieces of the ancient calculating machine were discovered by sponge divers exploring the remains of an ancient shipwreck off the tiny island of Antikythera in 1900. For decades, scientists have been trying to figure out how the device's 80 fragmented pieces [image] fit together and unlock its workings.

Previous reconstructions suggested the Antikythera Mechanism was about the size of a shoebox, with dials on the outside and a complex assembly of bronze gear wheels within. By winding a knob on its side, the positions of the sun, Moon, Mercury and Venus could be determined for any chosen date. Newly revealed inscriptions also appear to confirm previous speculations that the device could also calculate the positions of Mars, Jupiter and Saturn—the other planets known at the time.

The international team, led by Edmunds and Tony Freeth, also of Cardiff University, included astronomers, mathematicians, computer experts, script analysts and conservation experts from the UK, Greece and the United States.

The researchers plan to create a computer model of how the Antikythera Mechanism worked and eventually a working replica.

Let this thread be meant to discuss those ideas. Like Zacharias Stincin's Earth Chonicles in which he says the Annanaki genetically mutated us , mixing some of thier own DNA with the most evolved simians to come up with a worker unit.

I think maybe we originally were from Mars, or perhaps the Annanki were from Mars. Maybe we rebelled eventually and an interplanetary war insued. A war perhaps we won, but lost all history and were flung back into primative chaos and are now just picking up the pieces.
