Hyper-Andro?

I'm not sure what you would call it, but I'm into a sort of polar andro which brings incorporates both the extreamly masculine and feminine without trying to be ambigious.

Like beards and with lots of eye make up and a scoop neck tee.

Sort of like the sisters of perpetual indulgence, but not quite.

anyhow have an idea what we would call this?

my name is lee and i just joined this tribe the other day. i live in san jose and am currently attending a goverment funded program. *shudders* naw, just kidding, its not that bad. but alas, i have not many friends around here due to most people not knowing what to make of me in most cases. out of curiosity, i was wondering if anyone else here has had issues with public restrooms? everytime i use the bathroom, i get chased out. usually its the womens bathroom. anyone else have an issue with this?

Someone in a smaller Androgyne tribe had expressed some difficulty finding t-shirts with the word androgyne or intersex on them and not having seen or heard of it before I decided to go ahead and make some. I know some folks don't care for cafe press and prefer to handle the screen printing, etc. themselves -- but this is honestly the easiest way for me to get a variety of things out, both t-shirts and buttons, etc... throw out any ideas you might have for improving these -- one thing I'm considering is versions of these with a tao (yin/yang) in the middle of the O.

I figure that everyone should throw in their vote for "most represents the tribe" from our photo album, or please add some other photo you think we should concider. hello everyone... i have recently joined the group and have project i need some help and advice with... please take the time to read this with an open mind!

i am a photography student focusing at the the moment on portraiture. i am very interested in ideas about gender and how in society it is percieved that gender is such a crucial part of an individuals identity. when reading a portrait and trying to get to grips with the identity of the subject, the subjects gender is often seen as a large "clue" and an essential aspect in understanding who they are.
i want to challenge this by producing a series of portraits where the subjects gender is unclear, therefore forcing the viewer to deal with the subject on a different level of their identity.

however, i am aware this is a senstive subject that i feel very uneducated about. i do want to know whether this is a proposition that may be offensive to physically androgynous people... i don't want to offend anyone or deal with this in an unsensitive way so i am testing the water to begin with!
any feedback would be greatly appriciated...

incidently, i know this is an international forum but if anyone is based in the south of england and feels they would fit the bill and be happy to have their portait taken, please get in touch...

I'm so stuck on the whole androgynous thing that it seems to be the main form of sex play that really gets to me. So glad I married the right man for the job. This is the only tribe of it's sort that I belong to. If this is unrelated, so sorry. mx is my tribe friend and invited me, so I thought I'd try this question as well:

Does anyone have any ideas or tips? My husband is going as a catholic school girl (he looks totally hot, too). I wanted to go in drag as his protective and jealous boyfriend. We both think it will be lots of fun, but it's been 20 years since I've been in drag.

For those of you who are unfamiliar with Fluid...

Fluid provides a comfortable, safe space to talk for people who don’t fit into conventional categories of sex, gender, gender expression, and sexual orientation, the boxes of female and male, woman and man, feminine and masculine, femme and butch, bottom and top, lesbian, gay, and straight.

Many folks in Fluid identify as queer, fluid, FTM, androgynous, power queer, polyamorous, intersex, MTF, genderqueer, bi-gender, a-gendered, switch, bisexual, bisensual, inter-gender, heteroflexible, transgendersexual, homoflexible, and pansexual, and many do not identify with any labels in relation to their sex, gender, gender expression, and/or sexual orientation. Allies and people who would like to learn more are also welcome at Fluid gatherings.
