Just watched Rivers and Tides. I have known of Andy Goldsworthy's work for years, still have not visited some in person.

This film is very mesmerizing, calming, insightful, inspiring. The music by Fred Frith is a great compliment.

I can't help but wonder at his torment at that fine line he meets when something collapses before he has completed it. He shows obvious frustration, devistation. Yet he is a force of nature as well. He is unwilling to walk away at that point. He wants to take it just to the brink of collapse, then let nature take its course. It is fascinating and lovely.
