The other day I was perusing several of the books I've been reading over the last couple of years, and began to think of them as textbooks of a sort, in that I've gained much education from them. I'd like to share a few of them with you now, and am hoping that you'll share one or two books you've recently read that have had an impact on you.
"Bringers of the Dawn" and "Path of Empowerment," by Barbara Marciniak.
Link: www.pleiadians.com/dawn.html
These books provide a Pleiadian perspective on these changing times, with "Bringers" being more of a Pleiadian 101 treatment, and "Path" being a rather advanced text (I would strongly recommend reading "Bringers" first). Check out the link above to see if the ideas here resonate with you.

"2012: The Return of Quetzalcoatl" by Daniel Pinchbeck.
Authors' tribe.net page: people.tribe.net/daniel_pinchbeck
Review: www.rambles.net/pinchbeck_q07.html
Search Link: search.yahoo.com/search
A pretty mind-expanding book, which takes a more literate approach to the 2012 thing (as opposed to a "New-Agey" approach, if you know what I mean). His earlier book "Breaking Open the Head" (a very interesting take on psychedelic shamanism, if that's your sort of thing) is also worth checking out.
-----------------------
"Galactic Alignment" by John Major Jenkins.
Link: www.alignment2012.com/
A pretty heady read, with a lot of what could be considered scientific mumbo-jumbo, but the guy's done extensive research, and parts of the book are facinating. It's worth checking out this review, if nothing else: www.earthportals.com/Portal_...012.html
-----------------------
"Return of the Bird Tribes"
"The Starseed Transmissions"
"Vision"
"The Third Millennium," all by Ken Carey.
The first of Carey's books I read was "Bird Tribes," and if you read only one of the books in this entire list, "Return of the Bird Tribes" is the one I'd recommend. Filled with Native American wisdom, this book affected me on a deep level, and I rushed out to read his other books as well. "Starseed" and "Vision" are both great, and the "Third Millennium," which I'm currently reading, is shaping up to be something special as well. I strongly suggest you check them out.
------------------------
"Animal Speak" by Ted Andrews.
Search link: search.yahoo.com/search
A great book that shows you how animals and nature are always communicating with you, and shows you how to interpret that information. A great (and essential) book for anyone's library.
--------------------------
So again, feel free to share your favorite books with the rest of the class ;o) I'd love to hear about them.

Re: Schoolbooks
Wed, July 30, 2008 - 12:32 AMI just finished this one and it has really helped in my ability to identify and work with various aspects of my energetic and spirit selves. A book grounding in the many shamanistic traditions across the globe.
"Shamanic Spirit" by Kenneth Meadows
This tome is a collection of truths that one can meditate n in a daily manor. Especially powerful are its words on fear
A quote "... fear is an alarm clock. The first thing you do when an alarm sounds is shut it off!"
"Das Energi" by Paul Williams -
