Sick Dog

A basset hound i look after is sick.
he hasn't been eating much of anything and has been shaking off and on the past few days.
is there anything i can do, or a more suitable place/person to ask?

    where do you live? hard to diagnose over the net, there are some good holistically oriented vets in a lot of places these days...Judith

        hey, thanks for the replies! i live in northeastern OK , like my profile shows. i've never heard of this rescue remedy, but will look into it.
        i have good news though. we wormed the dog, and now he seems to be back to his old self again, and is doing much better.

          Rescue Remedy from Bach Flower Essences. It is an amazing product for all sorts of shock and trauma. It works well on animals, people of all ages, i have even tried it on plants when they get transplanted. I'm not sure in the case of plants that it was that effective - but otherwise it is a bit of miracle worker.

            flower essences are something i have been seriously looking into lately.
            i hadn't considered they might also be effective for plants and animals.
            wow, very cool. when i get a little spare cash, i think i'll try a few out.
