A friend of mine was recently lamenting that Ms. Ekberg never appeared nude on film (with the exception of the horrendous 'Suor Omicidi' (Killer Nun), in which she bares her backside). But Anita was so magnificent she didn't need to bare it all. Everyone remembers her in the black strapless gown in La Dolce Vita, Trevi Fountain, etc. But also be sure to check out Fellini's short film on Boccacio '70, 'The Temptation of Doctor Antonio,' in which Ekberg plays a 50-ft tall billboard model advertising, you guessed it, milk! The image of her crawling buxomly and swayingly on the grass wearing yet another low-cut number makes a fitting advertisement for 'milk' indeed!
