The Moon Ritual was FABULOUS. Mother Earth showered us with her love (rain) all weekend and it worked out perfectly. Instead of being outside in the Moon Circle, we were all cozy in the Temple. There were 14 of us - including 13y.o. Galin. We had a beautiful meal of three different kinds of soup and stew - it was cold and everyone had the same idea it seems. After supper we all moved into the Temple for the ritual. It was a ritual of Self-Expression and Self-Actualization that I made up; everyone enjoyed it - even Kat who doesn't usually enjoy the stuffiness of rituals. I was nervous because my Moon Rituals aren't the same as a "regular" Sabbat Ritual, but it worked out very well and many people appreciated the community-oriented and close-knit feeling. I really feel that I was able to circulate the love and healing that I wanted to - I'm building on my Priestess style of healing! I only wish that I had someone to play the soft drum beat during meditation - or Vince to play the didgeridoo! Mother even poured down her cleansing rains at the right moments in the ritual and meditation. I had a cold going into the weekend and ended up with no voice (off-and-on) Sunday after the ritual - but it was worth it.

The following weekend (last weekend) was Annwfn's 30th year Jubilee anniversary and it was GREAT!! Oberon and Morning Glory came as well as Art and Jeanne and Sequoia even made it! There was a wonderful mix of those who have been involved with the land for years and some who were very new to the land. I made a cake into the shape of beautiful full breasts and everyone enjoyed it. I was talked into serving the cake topless (in the COLD weather) - it was definitely a celebration that Gwydion would have appreciated, I feel. Oberon even found and brought the old Forever Forests banner and put it up at Annwfn.

The only thing I wish I had done for the two weekends was 1) put the signing book out so everyone would sign (and hopefully donate) and 2) join everyone together in a circle around the table for a blessing of the food - we've always done it at Annwfn before, I don't know why I didn't think of it at the time; I guess I was just very busy cooking and stuff.
