  Thank you. I stopped going to protests a few years ago because I couldn't see what purpose it served but lately I'm beginning to understand that it motivates others why might otherwise be ignorant of the issues to get involved(at least interested) & create a dialog.

    Seattle was an example of direct action in protest. It was not a symbolic march. That was the difference.
