Found an interesting artical. I can verify that I have heard of this before but thought it quite dead. But then again we are still under control of a virtual dictatorship:

In Response To: MINT DECLARES REAL MONEY ILLEGAL.. (NWDisorder)
NWD...apologies if I posted anything you already have in place.
Orwell missed by about 25 years, methinks...
Note ... according to the US Mint:
"under the Constitution (Article I, section 8, clause 5), Congress has the exclusive power to coin money of the United States and to regulate its value"
According to the *real* constitution:
"To coin Money, regulate the Value thereof, and of foreign Coin, and fix the Standard of Weights and Measures;"
c.f. www.usconstitution.net/xconst...c8.html
Note the gratuitous addition of the word "exclusive", and then the fraudulent attempt to pass it off as part of "the constitution"....

Control of your money is the goal here.... if they fully control your money, they'll tax everything & then some, and ALSO, they'll track EVERYTHING anyone buys, sells, or trades, and who with. This crap the gov't is spewing is tantamount to trying to claim bartering is illegal.
-- Of *COURSE* they want it illegal.... can't be traced or taxed!
