OK, i just had this wacky idea, and I wanted to see what others thought.
would it be possible to daisy chain a number of small wind-powered generators (like, 12-18" diameter) and string them between buildings in an urban area? I know in chicago and NYC it can get windy as hell, especially in alleys and between buildings. if there were series of these, almost like clotheslines, could they add to electricity creation and help ease fossil fuel consumption?

Thanks for the link. I think this is a very cool project.
