Ok, while I am here making suggestions and such I thought I would throw this one in as well. How about offering a spell check for posts either in the main screen or in the preview, or both. This would help a lot of people who make posts that are nearly impossible to decipher since they were typing in a rush and posted without proofing. I often have to open MSWord in another window so I can cut-n-paste to it, get corrections done, then cut-n-paste it back. It is a bit of a nuissance and I don't always do it - but I bet I am not alone.
And many people could care less about spell check, and that is fine. I am only asking to have the option.

Re: Spell Check
Tue, September 26, 2006 - 10:26 PMthis has been asked for in the past, and I'm not sure what we can do, other than suggest that for now you use an external application to spell check... -

Re: Spell Check
Mon, October 2, 2006 - 3:30 PMThe foundation I work for (www.schwabfoundation.org) has websites that includes adults and kids with reading problems and are not likely to be able to find and install third party solutions. We needed an integrated spellchecker. Luckily, there are a fair number of folks who make these and license them out.
One place to start is with this google search:
Google results for: license spell check server
www.google.com/search
and I stumbled upon this fellow who is working on a spellchecker and offering it up with a very unrestrictive license (you just have to include a copyright notice):
me.eae.net/archive/2005...pell-checker/
Maybe this will help if there is concern about needing to develop a spellchecker from scratch.
