I'm trying to work out a good practice routine I can stick with. If anyone knows any drawing exercises or has any tips, let me know. I just seem to never be able to make myself practice. Or have the time. It sucks.

Re: Practice, practice, practice schedules and routines.
Tue, May 6, 2008 - 2:53 PMI have found it helpful to get a group together to meet somewhere each week to draw. Seek out other artists and show each other your work weekly and then just spend a few hours talking and drawing each other or your surroundings or whatever each week. It's marvelously fun! For my private practice time I don't have a set timetable but I try to draw or write at least a couple hours a week when I'm alone. Early in the morning before everyone else is up is always a more productive time for me than trying to draw when the household is like a 3-ring circus.
