This is a tribe to discuss ethics and architecture. I'm open to all view points, I think this is an issue thats overlooked too often by professionals and students. What are the architects duties? If we displace 5000 people to build housing for 1000 is that our fault? What is our role regarding sustainability? Is there only one way to design, or is all relative? Should we design strip malls to last 50 years, when they are only used for 5? Anyways, I consider myself fairly liberal and fairly green, but I'd like to hear from anyone.
