Hi Clara, although I'm not the official contact person, I can say that you'll either have the Dusty Goddess or probably a few people from said camp. One of our dedicated peeps has a boy he's raising on the Playa vibe and at 5 years old, he doesn't quite make the height limit for 2257.

Spinergy Arts and NW Coinclave are on board. Tee-Hee My friend Megan and I will also be building a sweat house for the camp using methods she learned from natives in Alaska while doing archiological digs on the Aluetians.

have a 10'x 20' carport frame and a arctic painted double thick canvas to cover it for a chill space... may connect it to a enclosed pole stage inspired by critical massive our local BM event and my favorite parts of BM... the stage will be a shadow screen in front of a 10' pole for night time shadow exhibitions...

Freewill ~ hola! Which camp are you with? Sounds like an awesome setup!

The Dusty Goddess will also have a stage with pole setup, we should arrange a camp "exotic dancer" exchange!

It occurs to me that while we are doing a roll call and a few of us Dusty Goddess folsk have chimed in, we haven't really introduced our Camp.

For those of you who didn't come to the DG last year, we are a "open mic" strip club, of sorts. Actually, "strip club" is an inadequate moniker and very few people actually strip. It's more of a safe place for anyone to learn and try out pole dancing. We have the lovely Rebeka, who took it upon herself to learn here in Los Angeles, and she has passed on her knowledge to other women, like my fiancee Ivy. They both teach quite a bit and encourage others to try it out, and last year we had a spectacular time. We had a few pro's stop by, as well as a vast number of first timers, both men and women, who just had a ball. We had a college professor in her early 60's come by and try it out and then thanked us for creating a safe place for her to try this out for herself. That is EXACTLY what we are about.

Given that we are creating a safe space, we do need to make it clear to our dancers that there can be no overt sexual conduct on the pole. Yes we are an adult village, and we need to be responsible lest the law enforcement there shut us down (quite legally) for lewd public acts or whatever the law may be. Of course, at Burning Man we all know that certain things that are taboo in the Default World are just fine on Playa. Nudity is not a problem, of course.

And I realize that you all know this, but I do request your support to help inform any of our visitors who may not realize that the stage is for dancing, flirting and tempting and not for outright Shagging. There is No Sex in the Champagne Room.

So that's the Dusty Goddess in a nutshell (and of course, only my take on it). We are very much looking forward to camping with you all, and we'll see you in a month!

My understanding of the five camps at 2257 is:

              Temple Whore
Dusty Goddess (and the Dusty Kitten bar)
NW Conclave (participating as Samba do Sol this year)
              Scissor Farm
              And Then There's Only Love
