In the ancient days, the Celtic tribes were the creators of the Holiday we know as Halloween. With the harvest and the coming of winter, Mother Nature symbolized the coming of death with the days getting shorter. This is a time to honor our ancestors and those who have passed. Death is but another journey and Halloween or Samhain is the one day of the year the veil is thin, which makes it the most honorable time to communicate with those loved ones we have lost. A time to celebrate and honor death. It is also a time to play and partake in the festivities of spooky gouls, vampires, ghosts, and monsters. I love Halloween! It's my favorite time of year ;-)
