I´m filming my dance videos, do you have any tips? For example, where do you look when performing for the camera?

I´m watching all my DVDs and I´ve realised dancers rarely look direct to the camera, where do you look? To an infinite point in the horizon? Or do you have a person standing behind so that you can focus your look?

Also any other tips in synchronisation with music when editing, on choosing make-up, clothes, locations, etc. very welcome!
