I have lived in Arizona for 9 and a half years too long. I am leaving in a few months to go home to Oklahoma. I was suckered into moving here and was told the wages were great and cost of living is exceptional. BULL CRAP!!! I can not see paying this much for an acre of dried lizzard crap let alone the cost of rent. not to mention everything has to be carried out with such beurocratic precision, it is just insane. Every since I moved here it has been a constant up hill ass raping financially. i asked my boss for a 5 cent raise and he acted like I was stealing from him. I said ok Ebeneser and found a new job that pays the same!! At least back home I can still buy a 3 bdr house for 40 grand and it sits on two acre of usable land. I think people here think everything is made of gold!!! Although I will miss the desert. Small price to pay for actual freedom to hunt and fish whenever and wherever I please. Hey I tried as hard as I can to make life in hell work. I have had to work 3 jobs and never had a ticket and someone or something always has there had out telling me to hand it over. All there is to show for 91/2 years is 5 dollars in a savings account. You can have Arizona and I will make it a point to post were ever I can in travel and vacation websites that Arizona is a drain on our nations economy and serves no right to be part of the union and post links to demographic websites. Maybe we will get lucky and Arizona will follow California into the ocean. I do not see how people can be so greedy and still say this is a great place to live.
