Burn Clean Project Seeks 2 Bio-Bus SpaceShuttle Teams
6 Trips, 7 Hours Per Day, Friday & Saturday Off
August 26th-September 4th
Approx. $1200 per team
Dear Bio-Bus Operators of Black Rock City:
The amount of fossil fuels burned and greenhouse gasses emitted to get burners out to the playa is THROUGH THE ROOF. OFF THE CHAIN. OVER THE TOP. As the Greening the Burn movement blazes forward, Burn Clean Project would like to commence the first Black Rock City Bio-Bus Space Shuttle Program. BCP seeks aid burners get to the playa without renting a gas guzzling car, SUV, HumV, or RV.
We are in need of both Pilots and Space Shuttles a.k.a. Operators and Biodiesel-fueled Busses to carry eco-conscious burners from Reno International Airport and Amtrak train station to Black Rock City. In addition to contributing to the overall Greening of our lovely celebration, you will be renumerated for your efforts. Burn Clean Project will set-up a prepayment system to keep greenbacks off the playa yet put money in your pocket before and after the event.
The Bio-Bus must be:
o Running on B99, B100, or WVO
o Fully Operational
o Completely Reliable
o Able to Seat 20-25 Burners on Actual Seats
o Able to Store 40-50 Large Suitcases Plus Playa Dust
The Shuttle Pilot and Crew must be:
o 100% Sober (On Workdays)
o Fully Operational
o Completely Reliable
o Organized
o Infinitely Patient
o Time Conscious
o Able to Haul and Strap-On Luggage
o Able to Perform On-the-Spot Engine Repairs
o Able to Handle Large Quantities of Pre and Post Playa Burners Plus Luggage
