Re: Op Art
Fri, January 6, 2006 - 7:24 PMI thought I did
but what I have are a bunch of samples
there is a descriptor paragraph, that just describes op art and that it tricks the eye
it says you need compasses and rulers and that neatness is imperative for good op art
best tool fiber tipped pen
I did get them from an middle school art teacher so here goes trying to describe:
concentric circles varying in spacing combined with lines radiating from the centerprovide the space divisions
converging lines with concentric straight edged shape
(its like an organic shape but all straight edges and lots of them in and out)
checker board with the lines varying from widely spaced to narrowly spaced back to wide
overlapping and intersecting bulls eye patterns that alternate colors and texture at the over lap
back ground is zebra striped and an outline of a running zebra alternates from the background sripes
Hope some of those ideas help -
